The FMX Lease Advisory team has represented EE for over 19 years, acting as trusted advisors with deep knowledge of the estate. Our long-standing alignment with EE enables a seamless blend of resources, providing the EE Property Team with unrivalled experience and expertise.
In 2019, the FMX Agency team was appointed as EE’s sole nationwide advisor, responsible for advising on all acquisitions and disposals across the portfolio.
FMX has consistently delivered value by securing flexible lease structures at reduced rents, often supported by incentives, resulting in significant reductions in EE’s occupational costs. We have also successfully regeared numerous leases, achieving rent reductions or rent-free periods through the removal or pushing out of tenant break options.
With a mature portfolio of approximately 400 stores, our remit has been to ensure the estate remains aligned with the needs of future customers. Our Lease Advisory and Agency teams work collaboratively to assess existing locations and identify opportunities for retention or relocation, ensuring EE continues to operate from the most suitable and strategically positioned sites.
