The Brief

FMX was instructed to act on behalf of the Landlord in connection with the lease renewal of this prominent landmark building, comprising approximately 15,000 sq ft arranged over six floors. FMX provided advice on rental value and conducted negotiations with the tenant.

The Result

When a negotiated settlement could not be achieved, FMX progressed the matter in accordance with the Court timetable, submitting both an expert report and a supplemental report to Oxford County Court.

The tenant subsequently chose to relocate. FMX then marketed the property and successfully re-let it to a national multiple on a straight 10-year lease, achieving the same rental level originally advised.
