FMX acquired the freehold interest of 121/123 Princes Street in Edinburgh. The building provided a new 30,000 sq ft flagship store for New Look over three floors, with the upper floors let to Premier Inn for its flagship 97-bedroom hotel in the city.

On behalf of AXA REIM, FMX acquired the long-leasehold interest of 57A Kingsland High Street, Dalston in east London.

On behalf of Starwood Capital and Trinity Asset Management, FMX acquired The Royal Exchange, Manchester in 2014 for £43m and subsequently sold the asset for £100m, following implementation of the asset management plan.

In 2013, FMX was jointly instructed to advise Smiggle on its proposed UK entry. Smiggle is part of The Just Group, one of Australia's largest retail groups. The FMX Lease Advisory Team has also dealt with a number of rent reviews on behalf of Smiggle, minimising their rental outgoings.
